Kanha National Park

also known as Kanha Tiger Reserve

National Park in Madhya Pradesh spread across Mandala and Kalaghat districts. It has been declared as one of the finest wildlife areas in the world.

The Welcome Arch made of Deer horns. The museum hosts the flora and fauna of the jungle.

The landscapes and the surrounding luxurious meadows along with the wooded strands and the dense maroons of forests offer a wonderful sightseeing experiences for the nature lovers. Making the land more beautiful and adorable, the crystal clear streams amidst the dense jungle adds to the beauty.

This park has been the source of inspiration for Rudyard Kipling, for his outstanding book – “The Jungle Book”.

We stayed in Mowgli resort and went for the jeep safari in morning and evening.

The Kanha National Park is home for the mighty tigers to the most populated Barasingha and the countless species of plants, birds, reptiles and insects.

We heard the ‘Call’. We just missed the Tiger all that we got to see about it was the old scratch marks on the tree trunk and Fresh pug marks

Happy that we got to see the beautiful landscape. I always had a fear for forests but this one I fell in love with. Got to see a lot of Animals also but not the tiger.

Mowgli resort is where we stayed. Nice place to stay in. We partied around the campfire in the night after the safari.
