South Goa – Goa

My previous blog on the Mahadeva Temple being relocated is due to the construction of this Salaulim Dam located on the Salaulim River, a tributary of the Zuari River in Goa, India.

The spill way is the unique Duckbill type also known as the Morning Glory type. If lucky one can witness the spill. It’s amazing.

The Goa Forest Department has designed the Botanical Garden on the other side of the Dam. This huge area is planned like the Brindavan Garden in Mysore with Ornamental plants and landscaping. One can spend the whole day with family and friends playing and relaxing here.

Wow!!! Is this heaven on Earth. This is so Scenic so Serene its an Out of the World feeling.
